We started Solen Garden because we couldn't find the planter we were actually looking for. Something substantial but movable, beautiful but honest, designed for real conditions rather than retail shelves.

The Material
Why LLDPE changes everything
The answer was in the material. LLDPE — linear low-density polyethylene — rotational-molded, fully UV-stabilized. It's the same category used in industrial tanks, marine equipment, and outdoor infrastructure built to be left outside for years.
We asked ourselves why it wasn't being used to make planters people actually care about. Then we decided to do it ourselves.
The Construction

Every planter in our collection is constructed with consistent wall thickness throughout — no weak points, no seams, no hidden corners where failure starts.
The color runs through the material, not just across the surface. The weight is intentional: enough to feel grounded, light enough to move.

A significant part of what we do is built around the needs of commercial and hospitality environments — hotels, restaurants, cafés, country clubs, amenity centers, and resort properties. These are spaces where the outdoor experience is part of the offering, not an afterthought.
Landscape architects and designers who work on these projects need products they can specify knowing the installation will look as good two years after opening as it did on day one. Consistent sizing across a large deployment. Finishes that hold. Planters that can be repositioned as layouts evolve — without hiring a crew to do it.
